Undergraduate pathway programmes

Most Scottish undergraduate degrees last 4 years, but our pathway programmes allow you to graduate in 3–4 years depending on your qualifications.

International Foundation

  • Leads to Year 2 of a 4-year Scottish undergraduate degree.
  • Bridge the gap between high school and university study.
  • Build your academic knowledge with modules tailored to your degree.
  • Develop your English language skills to meet the university’s requirements.
  • Earn a qualification recognised by other UK universities.

International Year Two

  • Leads to Year 3 of a 4-year Scottish undergraduate degree.
  • Complete your pathway and degree in 3 years, saving time and money.
  • Study the same content as second year university students, joining them for some academic modules.
  • Equivalent to Years 1 and 2 of your degree, with extra support in an international environment.

Combined pathway and degree programmes (iCAS)

  • One visa for the full length of your study plan, with no requirement to return home between programmes.
  • Apply with a range of English language qualifications, not just IELTS.
  • Flexible start dates and course lengths.
